Nonprofits on the Lost Coast are dedicated to preserving the region’s natural beauty, promoting arts, recreation, and community welfare. These organizations work collaboratively to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors alike, fostering environmental stewardship, cultural engagement, and community growth while supporting the unique and remote Lost Coast.

Shelter Cove Pickle Ball

FEATURED MEMEBER:  Shelter Cove Pickleball is a volunteer-run group promoting pickleball play and events on the Lost Coast.  Our two courts, surrounded by trees and a peaceful stream, are just minutes from the coast. We welcome all skill levels for fun games, special events, and a warm, social community.

SCARF

The Shelter Cove Arts and Recreation Foundation (SCARF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit promoting arts, recreation, and mindfulness in Shelter Cove. Established in 2012, SCARF is led by a volunteer board and welcomes community input, involvement, and donations. All contributions are tax-deductible and support enhancing the quality of life for locals and visitors

Friends Of The Lost Coast

Friends of the Lost Coast, founded in 2000, is dedicated to inspiring a passion for understanding and preserving the Lost Coast’s natural life. Through community programs and partnerships, we educate and engage students, visitors, and locals, fostering appreciation for this unique environment and promoting safety and stewardship of the region.

The Shelter Cove Pioneers is dedicated to fostering a spirit of community, goodwill, and friendship among its members. Established with the goal of encouraging cooperation and service, the Pioneers focus on supporting the Shelter Cove community through meaningful contributions and strong, positive relationships.

The Shelter Cove Property Owners Association (SCPOA) is dedicated to promoting private ownership, lawful property use, and the general welfare of the community. Their mission is to enhance community growth, preserve Shelter Cove's beauty, and protect land and home values. They meet monthly to support these goals and welcome community participation.
