The Children's Garden in Shelter Cove was inspired by a need for a safe and playful space for kids. After children were spotted running through the community flower garden, volunteers envisioned a dedicated area just for them. The octagonal garden features flower beds, a fun obstacle course with stepping stones, balance beams, log rounds, hopscotch, and planter boxes for vegetables and berries. At its heart is a child-sized table and benches, encouraging creativity and exploration. The garden was brought to life through community collaboration and now offers children a joyful place to connect with nature and play freely.
